At the heart of the system for promoting and protecting research integrity, the RI officers are appointed by their institution, which must provide them with the means to carry out their missions: participation in developing the institution’s policy on research integrity, coordination of awareness-raising and training activities, investigation of reports, etc. (see article 3 of the decree of December 3, 2021 for the complete list of these missions).
